St. Jude Hospital held the 2012 Gala fund-raiser on Friday, September 14, 2012 at Tiburon Golf Club. St. Jude Hospital treats children at no cost to their families, shares all research data and was the first institution to cure sickle cell disease with bone marrow transplants. St. Jude Hospital continues to lead in the treatment of childhood cancers and diseases and is a great blessing to those they serve.
The event included a catered meal, auctions and raffles and the music of three prominent Nashville Songwriters, Richard Leigh, Ralph Murphy and Lee Thomas Miller. Once again Midwest Sound & Lighting was there to make sure every bid, every story and every note was heard clearly by the audience. The songwriters held everyone’s undivided attention as they played songs that artists like The Dixie Chicks, Brad Paisley, Crystal Gayle and Teri Clark had made into big hits. Great musicians, songs and camaraderie hitched up to a great cause made for a memorable evening for all. It’s a privilege and a pleasure to be involved when folks are so generous with their time and money to help sick kids and their families. Midwest Sound & Lighting congratulates St. Jude Hospital on their great work and says, “Lead On!”.
