The Learning Community broke ground on new facility in North Omaha on Tuesday, November 12, 2013. The $4.6 million learning center near 24th and Franklin Streets will be a test bed for programs designed to further the academic achievement of children facing economic and language barriers.
Among the featured speakers were Mayor Jean Stothert, The Learning Community’s Ted Stilwil and OPS Superintendent Mark Evans. Midwest Sound & Lighting used a single QSC K-12 powered speaker and Shure Micro-Flex podium microphone to provide crystal-clear, feedback-free sound for all attendees to hear.
