Bellevue West High School Baseball Field sound system upgrade

The Design Systems Group at Midwest Sound & Lighting was recently commissioned to design and install an updated sound system for the Thunderbirds’ ball field, to go along with other significant improvements to the turf, dugouts, backstop, press box and scoreboard.

Criteria included several points, like intelligibility, simplicity of operation, reliability, weather-resistant, installed loudspeakers and a lockable, head-end cabinet for equipment security.

From Jeremy, a skilled installer with our Designed Systems Group, “The initial design was for a press box that we soon learned was being replaced. With a new and bigger press box came the need for an additional speaker and channel of amplification. We were able to coordinate with electricians to get conduit to all speaker locations, microphone jack, and AC power outlet located within the lockable cabinet.”

Notice the all-weather speakers under eaves and on roof.

Employing his many years of experience and training, Jeremy and our team installed a new system with new mics, amp, processing, locking case and 3 speakers

Now, fans can hear all the action clearly, and the ballfield is ready for the season! Many thanks to Bellevue West High School for trusting Midwest Sound & Lighting for their A/V needs. Go, T-Birds!
