Rob Trebilcok addresses LO 35 graduates
On Thursday, June 6, 2013, nearly 50 of Omaha’s best and brightest convened at Kaneko for the graduation ceremony for Class 35 of Leadership Omaha. This stellar program requires the time, effort and resources of many willing participants and results in a group of business men and women who learn about business, Omaha, each other and themselves over a 10 month period.
Lynda Shafer, Leadership Development Manager, welcomed the happy graduates, their families and employers to the Kaneko. Chamber President & CEO David G. Brown thanked all involved for their dedication to improving all aspects of life in Greater Omaha.
Other speakers included LO Class 35 grads Rosey Higgs, Aaron Shaddy and Rob Trebilcock, who spoke with humor and passion of their LO 35 experience. The graduation address was given by Scott Anderson, CEO Anderson Partners, himself an LO graduate.
To end the presentation, LO 35 grads Ryan Curtis and Jessica Gall performed a re-written version of the Adele hit, “Rolling in the Deep”, poking fun at several grads and at themselves. The song was very well performed and received and ended the event on a high note.
With delicious catering by Catering Creations, this event was viewed as a worthy achievement and enjoyed by all in attendance.
