GHS Trivia Night!
On Saturday night, February 15th, the Gross High School gymnasium was transformed into Party Central for Trivia Night, a very popular Gross High School fund-raising tradition. With 8 rounds of trivia about music of the 50’s and 60’s, M*A*S*H*, South Omaha Landmarks, entertainment, etc., over 600 Cougar supporters enjoyed raising money while competing with each other for the good of the students.
With the gymnasium floor protectively tarped over, 78 tables were set with munchies, pencils and contest answer sheets. Festivities began at 6 pm with social hour, then proceeded to the auctions and trivia contests.
The festive crowd feasted on delicious chicken, BBQ beef, sausage and peppers, au gratin potatoes, baked beans, green beans, chips of all kinds, a nacho bar and lots of sweet desserts. Beverage choices included pop, water, keg beer and 3 kinds of Margaritas from Margarita Magic.

Providing crystal-clear audio in such a packed and reverberant gymnasium can be challenging, but with four of the amazing JBL VRX 932 speakers, a couple Crown amplifiers, Shure wireless microphones and a compact Yamaha mixer, every word was heard clearly.
