The Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce honored Rod Moseman for his 35 years of dedication and results in Economic Development on Thursday, December 19th. The ceremony/celebration was held in the cavernous showroom of Claas of Omaha and was complete with catering by Hap Abraham and a video tribute to Rod.
Chamber President and CEO David G. Brown began the festivities which also featured comments by Omaha Mayor Jean Stothert, NEDA President Jen Wolff and the honoree himself. Rod was obviously moved by the event and in his comments, inadvertently missed a few small details (number of years of marriage and number of daughters), causing much gleeful laughter to echo throughout the Claas showroom. All in all, it was a very fitting tribute to someone who has had enormous positive impact on the skyline and business climate in Omaha.
Midwest Sound & Lighting provided crystal-clear sound reinforcement for the event using the small but mighty JBL VRX932 speakers, Yamaha console, Shure wireless microphones and Crown amplification. We, too, thank Rod Moseman for his hard work on behalf of Omaha and congratulate him for many jobs very well done. Here’s to a long and enjoyable retirement, Rod; you’ve earned it!
