Cloisters on the Platte

Overview

We installed audio systems to allow background music to help establish the environment for the retreat facilities. The sense of sound is very important for those experiencing a retreat. From nature to recorded voice and instrument, it is important to keep participants in the right frame of mind to get the most out of the visit they have at this facility.

Project Details

This campus is large. Challenges included simultaneous installation in the Retreat Center (equivalent of a five star hotel), gatehouse and seven lodge buildings.
There were several general contractors and architects and a variety of architectural styles.
Audio systems were tailored to each of the buildings.
Although the buildings are quite varied in styles, the background sound remains consistent in each of them.
