Overview

Midwest Sound & Lighting, Inc. did a complete sound system installation with a recent refresh. The system includes steerable line array loudspeakers, wireless digital mixing capabilities with a custom designed DSP solution and state of the art microphone technologies.

Project Details

  • All of the modern technologies implemented were tailored to make the sound system as invisible (both visually and sonically) as possible while improving clarity and intelligibility of music and the spoken word.
  • High values of reverberation meant the challenge of obtaining adequate clarity was a great one. The parishioners have been impressed with the result.
  • This church has both traditional mass and a more modern style of music while addressing the congregation in both English and Spanish languages.
  • Quality systems, designed for the long term, can be a great asset to a church like this when correctly designed and installed. In the end, even a system that is quite expensive to purchase, can be well worth the investment when factored over the life of the system.
