Wyoming State Fair

Overview

Since 2008 MWSL Live Event Production Team members have been traveling to Douglas Wyoming for the Wyoming State Fair. Team members arrive several days before the fair begins, install equipment, stay to operate it through the fair, and tear it down when it is over. We do sound for grandstand events, small stages, misc. events, and livestock show rings and paging.

Project Details

  • Production Team travels, sets, operates, tears down, the team is in Douglas for nearly 2 weeks.
  • Livestock paging system is complex. This system spans five large livestock stalling barns with six show rings, and is required to be re-configured as different groups move in and out of the facilities.
  • We use a large, full range PA, rigged from forklift, for the grandstand events. This system covers a grandstand with a capacity of approximately 5,000, and the arena, so that participants in the events can hear the announcers and timers for the rodeo.
  • MWSL provides sound systems for the grandstands, small entertainment stages, miscellaneous events, and livestock paging and show rings.
